Your Custom Home Addition
A home addition is the largest home renovation that you and
your family can undertake, it involves dealing with multiple
contractors, the city, engineers, architects and countless other
trades. That's why at OGC we offer you the option of reducing that
to having one source of accountability. You deal with us and only
us, and we take care of the rest.
We provide three options for the design and estimation
process:
Our first option is a basic design of the home addition, giving
you rough pricing and a design floorplan with measurements. This
option is a good starting point to making the right choices; the
drawings are ready to be reviewed by an architect and an engineer
so that they can be building permit approved. We offer this design
for $1500, and you're reimbursed this amount if you choose to go
with us.
Our second option is having our team make architectural drawings
for the addition, one of our designers will help you draw up full
details of the renovation to get building permit approved
architectural drawings. We have partner architects review the
drawings, and if necessary, partner engineers as well. We offer
this option starting from $3000, depending on the complexity of the
design.

A third option is for customers who still aren't completely sure
about the design of their addition, or have not yet gotten
architectural drawings. We offer a comprehensive estimate and
design option. With this our customers receive:
- Complete architectural drawings for your addition, including
stamps of approval from our partner licensed architects and our
partner licensed engineers.
- Our customer then gets to take these building permit approved
drawings and sit down with one of our in-house designers
or one of our partner designers. During this sit
down you will go through every little detail involved in the design
of your addition down to a tee, specifying all
interior finishing details.
This option gives you the complete cost control while providing
a smoother process because of the exact detail put into the design
process, this way we ensure taht there is nothing left to chance.
We offer this option for an average of 4-5% of the gross
renovation.
