We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced plumbing contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have already completed an apprenticeship through an accredited post-secondary institution or equivalent training through several years of on-the-job experience.

The plumbing contractor’s responsibilities include reviewing blueprints and consulting with the project manager to plan for the layout and installation of plumbing, installing all plumbing, supports and fixtures, ensuring all plumbing works and adheres to the relevant codes, and cooperating with other trades on large-scale home renovations or custom home projects.

We believe in building strong relationships with our clients and are looking for charismatic personnel who can communicate our company values and help our clients enjoy the renovation process.

The successful candidate will fulfill the following education, experience and skills requirements;

• Completion of a high school diploma
• Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship through an accredited post-secondary institution or equivalent on-the-job training
• Strong knowledge of water distribution and disposal of waste water
• Knowledge of all relevant building codes, regulations and legislation governing the plumbing trade
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate with other trades
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
• Demonstrated history of reliability and professionalism in your trade
• Ability to supervise others when necessary
• Ability to estimate labour and material costs and provide quotes an asset
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand and work in tight spaces for long periods of time

Properly installed plumbing is crucial to the client’s ability to take full advantage of everything their home has to offer.
